ACT FOR WOMEN's EMPOWERMENT

ACT for WE (Women Empowerment) is the flagship program of APR Charitable Trust. ACT for WE is a group of APR residents who came together to develop a sustainable initiative to enhance the quality of life of female domestic workers in APR. This is accomplished through regular camps that address various aspects, including health, hygiene, awareness, finance, investment, education, and more. The camps are funded by the APR Charitable Trust (ACT).

Financial Literacy Camp: On November 8th 2024, in collaboration with  ACT for WE , SBI and Sampark NGO, Project Thrive initiated by a grade 11 student of APR Villas conducted a comprehensive financial awareness session in multilingual formats for community helpers including housekeeping staff, security personnel, landscaping workers, drivers, plumbers, electricians, and domestic helps. This camp focused on delivering practical financial knowledge and services directly to underserved communities, breaking down barriers to financial inclusion and empowerment. With sessions conducted in multiple languages, we ensured information was accessible to all participants regardless of their linguistic background.
